Ready to rumble
My first Scorcher ready for some sand. This will be the last pictures of a clean chassis and body. Driver Albert will be added after the maiden bash ;) All about the build can be found on the forum: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=57193

Exellent paintwork. What´s the technique to get the windowframes so good?

Been watching your build. This thing is stunning! Yea, I also want to know how you got your window frames done so well!!!
mr alan
That is lovely! Let's see it in action!

Thanks! The technique for the window frames is to take the picture as far away as possible They aren't supertight in detail but from a little distance they look ok. For the straight lines I used Tamiya masking tape. The cornering is painted by hand and a small brush. I used the shell or the table as a tripod for my hand.

So nice. Probably the first one I've seen without a driver which actually makes it look more real. Albert's gone for a bit to eat I take it. Also looks tuff without the bumper. This is brilliant!

I just watched your movie. Brilliant! That's just what Scorchers are all about, and the ending is fantastic. Quality stuff. Oh and the car looks great too!
