I have been waiting for a long time for one of these to be produced. My favourite chassis iwas the ff01 so this chassis has made my year. I like the ifs system and everything else that comes with it especially all the blue alloy. The build was a bit fiddley with loads of small plastic washers everywhere but other than that it was a pure joy to put together. The shell is from my civic drift chassis and the decals where puirchased from eBay. I was considering putting my 10.5t novak brushless system in it but i thing i will stick a tz motor in it for now. I know the bodyposts need chopping but i have not decided which shell to run on it yet as the civic is for the shelf.
Thanks for looking and comments welcome as always.

That's a nice chassis and the body work is very well finished.

Body looks fantastic -- Nice work! Are the post holes already cut or did you have to do them yourself?

That rocks ! JACCS livery is fantastic.

That looks great! I've never run/had an FF chassis, and always wondered what it was like. I assume it is the closest to a real front wheel drive car as possible. More so than the M03. Great looking chassis and body!

I built my TRF201 yesterday, and it also has loads of small plastic washers... Perhaps to reduce wear and/or friction in places?

Looks great, i think i will buy one too
What wheelbase does the civic have?

Very interesting... kinda odd looking chassis (with those inboard laydown front shocks)! What are the proportions for it - i.e would a normal 1-10th 190mm touring car shell fit? I can remember there being a bit of a Fwd following when touring cars first 'took off' in the 90s with the FF01 series of cars & the Yokomo YRF2 (would love one of those now). Do you intend to race this & does your local track run a front wheel drive class?

Turned out beautiful. Perhaps Tamiya are finally trying to fight what they are infamous for - slop - with all these plastic washers.

Those decals 'From ebay' must ahve come from me lol, love the look of them applied.

Thanks for all the great comments. The body post holes were already cut but i had to widen them as the posts are a little wider. This takes 190mm size bodyshells like most of tamiyas touring car range. But you can have 3 different size wheelbases.

Great Looking body, the FF03 doesn't look bad too
