labour of love
hi all, this is my monster beetle all finished at last!! i bought this approx 6 months ago of ebay for a bargain price, it was missing some bits but the important parts (white shell, gold wheels) were all good so it was time to remove the 15 YRS! of loft dust.
I stripped the whole car down to just parts, washed and cleaned everything then re-built using 90% new screws. added a period white end can motor, and the MSC has been ditched for a tamiya ESC, several new parts were sourced from ebay, my shed, hong kong.

This is a white shell beetle painted and decaled to box-art thats the way i like them, FUTABA ATTACK-R handset and reciever, the tyres are not totally mint but i have a NIP set in the shed.
Hope you all like it and comments always very much welcome, and for those eagle eyed people the driver is missing, he is in the shed being painted!

That's is one very nice M.B! I like the fact it is so true to the original with small sensible upgrades. Right up my street this one.
