hello all, got this off ebay about a week ago. been looking for a 1/10ish boat for a very long time, so when i saw this i had to have it. think it will look great behind the lr3 or yota. i dont know much about this boat , so any info would be good. i think it was made in the 80s but like i said, not sure. it needs abit of work before it gets a run. going to fit it out with new radio gear and waterproof everything just to be safe. thanks for taking a look and comments welcome.:)

-motogp on the tele OYEAH -540 motor along side, looks the same size

This is the Robbe Spezial, a very tastefull and original model who was based on a real Glastron boat. It's a beauty that is always a great add to any collection.Which I found one soon.Well done.

This is not a robbe 'spezial' of course but it's written on your title. The real name is prinzess. That's the reason I didn' find one for years .

Great-looking boat, will look awesome on a custom trailer. I'd love to pick up something like that to go behind my Brat.

Japper, Will a brushless motor fit inside that cowl? I start getting goose bumps when I'm thinking about brushless.

hi,
well first: there are 2 versions of this boat. the first one is the orange princess (or prinzess, in german) the orange version was the first generation of the princess. later, they released a yellow version.

And guess what, I have them both
the yellow one I bought for €20 at a flee market, and the second one I got for free! people from my village where clearing out there house, and found some old rc stuff! because they saw me driving rc cars they asked me if I wanted this 'pile off junk'
Hell Yeah!! what i got was a marui hunter, the orange robbe princess and a other boat. these are the finds everybody wants to bad that the princess doesn't got the outboard motor.
Speaking off the motor, 540 size motors do fit, but don't fit any fast brushless motors in it! or you will strip the gears inside. just go easy on the outboard,

good luck with it,
ricardo

well thanks for that, maybe i will just add a low trun motor, save the brushless for somthing else. thanks again
