Took these pics about a month ago, and found them while emptying my camera today :)

My nephew says 'Uncle, I think it looks like a schoolbus!' Maybee he is right, but who does not want to be trailed/crawled to school? =) As this was a gift I will try not to exchange parts, just add some more details, tools and such. So here are some painting pics and some action pics as well.

I painted all the window moldings and hinges with fasblack, all the rivets are painted silver by tooth pick, hairy job but turned out nice I think. Tried to do some exterior detailing with permanent ink. Still need to paint the mirors, indicator lights and the grill. Hop you like it :)

Thanks guys

Wyoming: Thank you so much, and thanks for the tip

Henk: I was inspired by an semi high-rise FJ40 that 'lives' near my parrents, the day I see a 'for sale' sign on it's windshield, then I have to buy it

The little one is sleeping better and better, 3 weeks and 1 day old now But the weather is very hot in Denmark right now, around 30 degrees centigrade, yeah not so hot compared to South Africa I guess - but rather hot after Danish standards

ACE! Love the paint job and it's yellow my fav. Good job on masking up, great finish and ink lined. Nice out door pic's to.

Thanks guys Chose the yellow because I wanted something different than the 'stanrdard' blue or red - and because my IRL favorite dream landy is yellow It was a big job masking it all, but in the end I really like the end result over tape/stickers.

Thanks def4x4! And the nicest thing, if one mess up the bodylines, the it just wipes right off with rubbing alcohol

Your Yello looks so awesome with black lines, looks so real with finished details. Toothpick, hmmm I can use that.

Thanks Yes, well the toothpick was because of my lack of a small stiff brush - so I used what I had and it turned out allright
