My vintage sand scorcher and rough rider bodies are finally finished. They were pro-painted by forrest scott of bruiser builder.com. He also painted the driver figures and the hyper detailed heads, albert and dave. The paint work turned out spectacular! His talent continues to blow my mind. He Paints all my hard shells. The will be getting retuned to me next week and i will build showrooms for each of them then. But for now, I had to show every one what i'm so excited about. comments alway's welcome. Oh, and he only paints for me! No one else! lol. just joking ;)

Amazing slimmy, some would say cheating, but who cares look at the finish, yet again I find myself saying 'Your a Lucky Man'... (does he clear coat over decals)

Yes bloke, He clear coats over the decals. In fact the clear is so thick the edge of the decal disappears and it all blends flat. Just like a piece of glass. I have been waiting a long time for these, I guess cause it takes time to dry between every coat.

It was several months of drying time before the decals and clear was applied. It actually takes quite awhile for the paint to finish shrinking and curing before the final finish.

How much does a paint job llike the SS one cost you ?.
The detail is amazing and well worth the $$$.

They were just under 300.00 each, including the driver figure and hyper detailed head. bruiser builder is a dealer for the hyper detailed heads and price is very comparable to getting them here on TC. Give his website a checkout. [Click here]

Swarm, what to heck is gobsmacked? Lol. It sure sounds funny though. And thanks, I'm very proud of how they turned out. Worth the money, I think. I'm getting ready to box up my blazer & hilux to send away. I wont see them again for a year. But when they come home, ooooooo baby! Oh, and i got an nib vintage SS shell all ready for red and yellow box art. AK-style
