Painted 'Dave' Daniel Cockersell
Well I've been waiting for this one anxiously and again the wait has been well worth the reveal! If it isn't hard enough to paint incredible skin tones and eyes that look real how about the challenge of painting the American Flag including the stars, it's not a decal Honestly! I will get to see this in the flesh in October on a little trip back to my old home of New Zealand. I hope to get a shot or 2 of Dave in a car too :) What more can I say a picture speaks volumes! Congratulations to my friend and colleague Daniel Cockersell on yet another stunning master piece

This daniel fella is one talented young man. The head looks fantastic. the eyes are so realistic. This guy should be painting masterpiece wall paintings. I would also love to see the vehicle that Dave resides in.

FYI the flag took 6 hours to do and I believe it is accurate with correct number of stars and stripes! @Henrikw Dan and I have create a guide to show the steps involved to paint to this level. @MrDuke, yup looking forward to meeting you guys! Hey j-man, we have an arrangement as we work as a team on our components etc. I think you are looking at a 10 - 12 hours paint job on Dave which would set you back in the region of perhaps $400 US. Dan has had some large dollar offers to do one offs for people but alas he always busy with Forgeworld and Weta Collectibles. That's what got us enthused about creating our Painting Guide Book

James, Pic three is the most realistic ANYTHING I have seen posted to date. I am still in awe of the level of work and I HAVE seen some of it(Albert) in person. It would be a great honor to some day meet Daniel. BTW, I counted the stripes and they are all there. My eyes aren't good enough to concentrate on the stars, but I am betting they too are all there.
