This is one of those cars that I had nearly completed a long time ago, I Just couldn't get the last couple of peices to finish it, Roof and Roof lights, But thanks to Timecmdr and Lowry its now complete, Its very original, I had to simply clean the chassis and re sticker the body, The car had hardly any use, but somehow they had manged to damage the roof in the usual place, Just wanted to finish this before the re re so I was 100% confident it was all vintage, She runs fine but stays shelf bound most of the time. Thanks for looking!

A true classic, so much better than the new 'Ugly Buggy'. Great work a pride in your collection...

I actually like the modern re-re chassis much better but this looks a little more scale, very nice work on it!

This looks much better than the Rere. The track looks stupid on the rere although it will handle better go quicker etc. Plus this hasn't got the daft holes for the suspension. Nah this is much better mate

Totally agree, every collection needs at least one of these . Very fine looking example - well done on getting it finished, I know parts are tricky to find.

Nice looker Andy, will you get some new tires before the re re hits the shelf, just for old time sake. I can't say I favor the original or the re re as both buggies are a bit odd looking to me, but they are a neat piece of Tamiya history, especially this one with it's odd type of body plastic. You have it documented here too that it was done to original spec and not patched together. Keep up the good work.

Thanks again @ Chris, no will leave the tyres as they are as it shows it has been used but very little. Also it means I can run it if I feel the need.

Very nice Andy. I bought some HB decals from you over a year ago and finished mine, but haven't came around to take some nice pics of it. The HB is the car I grew up with and is the only one that gives me the true nostalgic feeling. Nice resto and the re-re will never be close to this...still I'll probably buy one.
