Academy Road Runner II.
This kit was purchased from TC member uluu70 (Ulf) along with the Mirage 4x4 .
It has to be one of my favourite Academy kits I have been after this one for a while its a very nicely presented kit nice eye catching blister pack everything is in sealed bags .
It also comes with the much sought after Torsion Bar .
This kit was released with several different box art pictures as seen in the last picture and were factory assembled.
The chassis has one known weak spot the front shock mounts are plastic and moulded to the chassis these tend to snap very easy on impact and can't be fixed without replacing the whole chassis.
I hope to obtain the other older Academy kits eventually.
Thanks for looking.

I am quite jealous.
The World Engines RockBuster clone was my first RC. I still have a few bits of it, in a couple of GH projects. I really wish those body shells would be reproduced again.

I really like this kit. I'd never seen it before you showed me the used one you bought. It's like a hotted up Grasshopper.
