building pictures 4
Hi fellow. No build during 3 days because my kids went out during the holiday. The firt thing my son did when he opened the door today was runing to his truck and ask me to build :)
It was a rough part today (3 speed gear box)and I expected some boring from him but just the opposite happend.I am very amazed how much patience he have for 6 years to build a gearbox.Building the wheels of cabin is more exiting for a kid but here he said to me that this was crazy and that he didn't know it was so complicate. He was complete involved and build the whole gearbox completely by himself.I took the pieces and he followd the plan... I was speechless.
With the exercise the skills are coming better and better and he now even find most pieces.I have to add that we build 2,5 hours at our own delicious speed :)
Tomorrow the mariage of the gear and engine on the chassis,a great moment.
P.S. thanks for the mails I recieved with the ask for news about the build.I am very glad to see that soo many guys take pleasure to look at this building pics.I hope I will see other like this from TC members soon.

That transmission looks like it will do the trick. This is gonna be great to see it go for the first time. Hope we get to see that on video.

Have fun with your kid and enjoy this building process... I got videos of my 5 years old daughter wrenching a friend´s TRF415MS and it´s awesome how fast the kids capture the methods and try to do it their way.

That is awesome, I haven't even tried to build a model this complex yet. I especially like the photos number 2 and 7 as they show true 'kid' reactions and playing around. I was beginning to wonder where the new posts were, but every now and then we all have to have a weekend holiday.
