Re-Re Buggy Champ with Lipo and 2.4 ghz.

Had to have one of these. I could not afford one back in the early eighties. Ive made a few mods to the buggy after running it in standard trim for a while. First thing to go was the stock motor which was replaced with a sport tuned black motor. The carson hump pack was replaced with an Overlander 7.4v 40c lipo pack. This battery is alot lighter than the 6 cell pack and its a way more powerfull. It fits in the battery tray really well and is secured with some velcro. Im not sure about run times as ive never put a stopwatch on it but seems to run longer. I also painted the wheels silver, just a personal choice. Ditched the 27mhz radio for a 2.4ghz. Its gone from a nice runner to one of my cherished buggys. I love it (steady now!).
