This is my 1/10 pro stock dragster. It has a .21 GRP Mario Rossi race tuned engine and an HPI Dodge Charger body-shell. Third channel on the radio releases a bright orange Quarter Mortar drag chute. The car uses stock/kit gearing which restricts the top speed to about 56MPH. Although the car as a project is complete, I've yet to finish running in the engine. I've put a lot of work into this car and I guess you could call it my pride and joy ...

Side view ... 3/4 view ... Here's the drag chute I got from Quarter Mortar .. View with added air scoop and different wing ... another view with scoop etc ... Photoshopped view of chassis ... Starting for the first time was a real hassle ... With a couple of friends ...

hey dude....that is fantastic.....loving the chute!!
....i see you are in the UK......don't know if you are interested but a few of us folks drag race our rc's a couple of times a year at vw shows at Santa pod dragstrip (check out my showroom for some piccies of a couple of mine).....we've got lights and timing equipment!.......you've just missed the last one (this last weekend!)....next time will be at the 'Big Bang' next year (so plenty of time for testing and tuning!)......keep your eyes peeled for more info over the winter (or have a look on VZI forums and search for 'rc dragracing' for piccies of the last 2 years of racing).....i'll probably start a thread on tamiyaclub soonish too.

it's all pretty informal, just about having a bit of fun and trying to get our scale 1/4 mile times down.

anyway good luck with the car......it's looking sweet

Hi guys, thanks for all the positive feedback ... Maybe I'll open a new showroom page for the toaster ... Yep, Scottoman that is a supercharger, but I've never run the car with it fitted due to fly-wheel issues, maybe I'll get it working when the engine's run in ... it probably won't make the car much faster tho, I bought it for the 'wow! that suckers supercharged' factor really. Stuntmanphil look out for a pm/email shortly ...
