strip down and assesment.... not brilliant
Well my monster beetle arrived and boy what alot of tlc this will need . So whats broke or missing ??? lots lol... main items include steering arms both sides (K.1+K.8) and steering horn (K5) parts from the rear body mount including G1 and one of the posts.. then theres the three spots and support rod plus the two mounting brackets , have fitted some parts which were broke or missing including the bumper mount and the servo protector . The shell is damaged but have removed old filler and going to patch with plasticard and fill/sand . Good news the old acoms AP227 mk 3 set works and also a second transmitter but has missing a battery terminal . On the whole could be a money pit unless find odd bits here and there . Virdict please guys and tell me im not stupid !!

Not stupid at all. That sort of projct is my favourite. Breathing new life into a wreck. A wothwile long term project. Picking up the broke/ missing pieces as time goes by. You should see the wreck of an MB shell that I brought back to life in my showroom. I'l be looking forward to the updates as parts are sorted and rebuilt.

Nice project, my Monster beetle once looked like this, looks like you've got some work to do. I've got a boxload parts I don't need anymore, let me know what you need & I might be able to help you out.
