This little car is one of my favorite runners. I'm an on-road guy, and I drive this in the street. As you can see by the tires. All the tires are now perfect, and the handling in the street is as good as many of my on-road cars. I removed all the stickers, lifted the rear wing, and added 3Racing shocks. You MUST drain the bad oil out of them, it does nothing! I added Tamiya damper oil to the shocks, and an Orion BigBlock motor I had laying around from my Micro RS4 days. (About the same as the Speed300).
This little buggy really moves, and is great fun on the street. Not a 'Concourse' car by any means... :) But good fun none the less.
I still have a NIB Tamtech Frog, Fox, and another Hornet. Got them on ebay for $68 each with radio and gear! Swapped the ESC for a Tamiya BK that comes with most kits, and used Deans connectors to a 1500Mah 2/3 C battery pack.
Cheers,

nice car. i was wondering how the tt-gear cars perform and how fast they ran. will they handle a brushless set up?

@bossgrabber - I have seen a lot of people put brushless in these TT cars. OOPLE did a review of the TT Frog, and added brushless. I am pretty happy with the performance of the Orion motor, and don't have to worry about stripping pinons and such. Cheers!

I dig it! The TTG's sure can handle brushless. 2 of mine rock brushless with no problems.
