my guestroom part 1
I always enjoyed pictures from collections on TC so I wanted to share mine and hope you will enjoy those.I satrted with re-realisea Brat 2 years ago. Then did a list with most wanted items and promise myself not to buy anything else.Every day I added items to this list but never bought any item out of the list. Most cars came from collections or bancrupt shops.only 15 % from the bay but mostly for spare parts.I only bought one restauration project (Mud Blaster) and promise me never to do it again. All parts had cost me over 400 dollars,an NIB with building guide and beautifull box had cost me less and building had been probably more fun. This collection is like one concreet block and I can't sell any part of it or there will be a gab.I don't collect serial numbers or specific items. The only one that cares is beauty of the item.My absolute favorite ....every single one:)

Wow I hadn't expect so much comments and thanks for that.I am happy that you enjoy looking to those pics.So here are the answers to your questions. Cars are posed on plastic glasses, very efficient and cheap. This is a guest room and believe me when you wake up it's like you're still in that dream and that's what its good for.The fact that I have concentrate all my cars in one room is because my wife don't wants any car in the house.I worked very hard for my parents first, than for my wife, than for my children so that they have a decent life..Now that everyone is served I worked a bit for me and this room is MINE My ambition is to build every single one.I bought them because I still think they are too cheap now for the beauty and quality.Tamiya also ended re-realise the same cars like they were before (see the Holdiday buggy or Lotus 79).This objects will become more rare and probably more expensive.I will not whait till I can't pay them.I also started collecting Tamiyas because my planes were too expensive. The difference with a new build Tamiya or NIB is that if you buy at market price you will never lose all your money if one day you have to sell it.My problem with building originals is that I find the blister packadge as nice as a build car (with less dust).I prefer buying new builds and repaint them like I want to.The best is of course the original one and the new build one (and a drived of course). My bathtub passionate lots of guys I see but this bath is part of my guestroon.Yes it's a Bugatti type 41 from Pocher 1/8.This evening part 2 on homepage

Thanks Phillipe, that must be a real beauty. I really like Bugatti so it's so cool when I see models as I've not seen many, never mind in that scale.
