I got bored with the Landcruiser body and had a new Brat body lying around so with a few body mount mods I now have a CR01 Subaru Brat. I also shortened the wheelbase by moving the rear axle forward. It is running a Tamiya Super Stock TZ motor and 25 tooth pinion for more speed. I know this is probably not the best setup for crawling but I don't do any hard core crawling anyway. This is more a fun truck and now with the extra speed also doesn't jump to bad. I also run Lipo battery to help keep the centre of gravity down as these things carry the battery up pretty high.

That looks pretty cool, you might see Tamiya copy that idea and release it as a kit

Love it.. both the concept, and the different-from-the-norm choice of body shell.

That looks brilliant, i run the same motor in mine, it makes them great fun offroad, but as you say not so good for crawling. the shell really suits the chassis and wheels. Nice one dude

Now that's a Mud Blaster 20-10! Great job, don't see many of these through the Jeeps and Hilux bodies.

Now, whay haven't someone thought of this before? The Brat body looks great on that chassis, a lower profile which will probably make it less top heavy. Great job!

No copyright here, I think the Brat body suits the CR-01 well. There are a few getting around now. I really like Scoobysports scaler, [Click here] .
