Well, I ended up on 6th place in August's photo competition, my best ranking so far. I took many pics of my favorite car. I still have a photo setting for this car in my head, but havent found the right place or how to do it yet. I have always pictured this car standing in a shallow waterpit in a back alley, in front of a wall covered with grafitti.
Nevertheless, I think the glass plate gives a nice reflection of the car and made the pictures a little different than the others in the competition.

i like the contrast of the clean purity of the setting and that disaster mobile screaming look at me, it looks like its made a long journey through hell to reach this beautiful serenity and come to rest, safely at last. if there was junk all around, it would be lost in the mess, i dont think you can top this. one of my favorite models ever.

Such a cool car, I love your photo idea, maybe you will have to build a scale back alley yourself

I can never see this one too much! Great build. Is it a glass plate were it is on? I thought it would be your rooftop. Anyway, very nice pics they are! Looking forward to the Grafitti setting

Thanks guys. I do agree with Christian, many of the details will be lost with the back alley/grafitti setting. Maybe that setting will suit a clean build better? Anyway, if I find the time to make a scale back alley, I'll post some pics of it. Kees, I have a nice open view from my porch. These pics are taken on a glass plate (from our living room table) on top of the leather foot rest couch I usually use when taking outside pics.
