Out & About on my Trail Patch
This has undergone a bit of a tidy up and a few tweeks since I last posted any pics of it. I'm well pleased with the final chassis set up. Plenty of articulation no tendancy to roll over near its limits. It equally at home on my trail patch or rock crawling patch. Headlights, spots and tail lights are all rigged. Good fun on the trail patch, on these long, dark evenings. Comments always welcome.

Some info on the rig. I wanted a truck that has the Bruiser 'stance' but capable of crawling. The specs are: Highlift Chassis rails with my own wider rail braces. TLT Shocks with stiffer springs on the front. Stampede gearbox, Axial Axles and 55t motor. ESC is rated at 300 amps. The shell itself is joined as per the Brusier and is hinged at the rear so the whole shell lifts once the front body clip is removed. The wheels are carrying 50g lead on the fronts, don't know the make. Tyres are Proline Moabs with memory foam.

Thats a sweet bruiser. What kind of wheels are those and how did you get them to fit?

Looks very capable, perfect mix of vintage and modern

nice movement on that suspension, I'm guessing not a standard chassis underneath, what have you done?

Looks like a hi-lift chassis? Nicely done...
What wheels are those?
Regressing!
Thanks guys. don't know the make of wheels. Just the 2 highlift chassis rails, nowt else on the chassis is highlift. There is no way I would subject an original 3 Speed chassis to the sort of abuse this gets.

Great truck and pics.

Those wheels look like the Six spoke rears from an HPI Firestorm. Very nice build by the way, and glad to see it running!
