Started collecting the parts for this over 8 years ago but after a long wait and some help from Alan (synchrocnc) relighting the fire, its finally finished. The only parts that are not new are the rear hubs and the wheels. The body is also one of Mrlexens repros (cheers Jay) I know its not Tamiya but this is a very rare car.

Thoughts and comments welcome.

The birth of the modern racing buggy ! Schumacher really were years ahead of everyone else when they released this. (FRP Chassis, Ally gearbox frames, UJs all round). No wonder the xls pasted the competition when it was released. Racing this against hotshots would have been like turning up for the Battle Of Britain with a Hawker Hunter

Simply stunning! If this was the only Vintage R/C car in my collection I would be a very happy man! I only drove through Chaple Brampton the other day, making me think of these old cars being produced in a little workshop somewhere. Would love to drive one of these SWB cars & see if they were as tricky to drive as they were reported to be!

These are great competition machines, a friend becomes France champion in the 90's with a prepared cat
