It is so hard to believe how fast 4 years can go by. Here we are about to hit 2011. Nice buy, I don't know what you should do about opening it or not???
I totally remember seeing these at Towerhobbies. I thought.... nah, I don't want one... now I wish I had a few, especially with the values they're commanding now! Nice find!
From what's been written and posted, it looks like these are great runners. Not sure about the belt drives. Since it was a special kit and most were stored away, my guess is there will always be plenty available to build.
Man..I've debated one of these. I would like one but I just can't see not building it and running it..I'd have to have 2...I can't afford 2... Infact I have to get the thought out of my head.

I would leave it sealed unless your gonna build it. It is a very nice kit.

The problem with opening her up, is then you have to resist the urge to build.

I feel your pain...I'm in the same situation myself! ....have not decided whether or not to build it

I was out driving mine just this week and they are whisper quiet super running machines. Well worth a build or better build and run

I think you should build it and run it. You could be like a '30th anniversary Fumito Taki'. Erm, maybe not...

Build it with a hot brushless. Might then be like a 30th Anniversary Rolf Stommelen! Smoking LeMans starts (all 4 tires of course)....

Nothing like a Four wheel drive burn out.

Tyboart. Tamiya is like a drug. You may kick the habbit but you'll always be an addict!
