Been working on this on and off for a while, and was built to be a runner. The chassis was bought locally and when i got it it was caked in dust and dirt but had all radio gear installed so i connected a battery and it worked perfectly.
I stripped and cleaned the whole thing and fully ballraced it and was pleasantly surprised how clean it was under all the dirt does not look like it had had much use.
The body was the opposite i had it lying around for a while and was not in any rush to do anything with it, years of several different paint schemes had to be removed and a few damaged bits repaired it was then primed, painted and then got a flat and polish and new decals fitted.
I chose to fit the clod body instead of the bullhead as i always thought the clod colurs suit the bullhead chassis well and the chrome parts give a bit more bling
Im really impressed with how it turned out and quite like the overall look. I have not run it much since the rebuild as it turned out better than i was expecting so scared to damage it, but have used it running a lipo and it goes so much better than it did with the nicad seems a shame not to use it.

Mind the table doesn't collapse under all the weight! Super looking Clod.

I love it. Are you using a 2s lipo or 3s lipo? 3s lipo make them rock. even with the stock motors. Nice

Very cool, I did the same thing with my clod and bull back in the early nineties, always thought it looked better too. Very nice example
