I did not want to buy and build another 1:10 car right now but wanted to join the Holiday build fest anyway. So here is my very simple entry. But I think pretty unique also, is there an X6 on TC yet anyway ?

This is a 1:24 scale Toy RC car. It was for sale for only 8 euro’s and I was impressed by the scale look of the shape. Wondering how that will look outside the box and how it would drive…

And I must say: it is looking very good. The mold lines are a bit rough and the windows just black but it surely has the right shape. The technical parts are very simple RWD and my son can drive it nicely indoors: it does powerslides and drifts on a flat surface, pretty much fun for a simple toy. I had some static kit decals left over in 1:24 scale and a Tamiya wheathering master set. So I tried to make it look even better. I must say I like it and even started to appreciate the shape of the X6 a little (not my favourite type of car normally). Like an X5 it could have been converted to join the Dakar rally at the moment, I tried to copy that idea

The limit of the scale appearance is the wheels: the stance is not that well and cant be adjusted. This post is showing the result in some outside ‘lack-of-sunlight-winter-pictures’ . The post with the link below is showing some more of the model itself.

Hope you like it, and a very happy and healthy new year for all of you!
Kees

Kees, your photography really is first rate. You should get a poster made of one of these (number 4 would be my choice) to properly appreciate your work. Be proud!
