Hi fellas,

can't tell you how glad I am this is finally finished. It took me a very long time to collect all the parts I had in mind for this project.
The original car came from member blob1, in very good condition. I started with disassembling the car and a good clean.
The chassis came from member Helge, completed with one of the last of Rad's skid plates. The bumpers are j-mans (front) and RCChannel (rear). Wheels are again Awesome Alloys of Rads paired with Sand Blaster Jr. and Kyosho Dunlops. The exhaust came in a deal with some member I can't remember, modified to fit around the cage. The nice rear cover came from another member in a parts lot and is made of aluminum. I just painted it satin black. The car was assembled using stainless steel screws.
The paint job was kind of an experiment. I intended to spray clear orange over a very bright silver, resembling the box art paint with a modern twist. But it turned out the TS-76 mica silver I used was on the darker side, so I switched the second colour to copper. The masking of the silver parts was done using stickerbods great vinyl stickers. All finished up with several coats of clear. The decals are a mix of original, re-re and TC repros.
Hope you guys like it!

14-Jan-2011

Guys, your awesome! Never got so many views and comments in such a short time. Thank you!

@Vagabondstar: I just left away the rear bracket, so its easy to remove the body.

@slimmy: No, these are not the tyres from my Ranger. I had 6 pairs NIB, now 2 left. I need one pair for a project. My source has dried out now...

@berman: I don't dare cuting them up!
