My first R/C
This is my very first R/C car I got it brand new for Christmas back in 1982. I have been collecting parts for months now and decided to start putting them together to see what I had. There are a lot of rere parts involved not a huge issue for me, I just wanted to get the car back together. The whole front end is rere parts and the gear cases are as well. The chassis, the rear A arms and gears are original, everything else was found on the bay. The hardest item to find were the 2 spring arms only seen these come up on the bay once and I was sooo lucky to have won them, went down to the last couple of seconds of the auction. I still have much work left to do. I need wheels and tires, motor, tie rods, and ball bearings. I used bronze bushings for now. And I have 2 shells that I need to get stripped and painted. Thanks for looking.

Great story and brilliant that you're bringing something, you've had for such a long time, back to life.

Nice to have your original cars, lots of sentiment there. I'm sure it'll be really satisfying to get back together again & run once again Very nice job done there!

I dig the red body, it looks so ready to run. Nice find getting all the bits together and I wish you best of luck putting it all together, wheels and tires will be simple, Hornet RE RE will be great supply of those.
