Well got the Decals on today, I made my own window rubbers surounds out of black vinyl as the ones you get with the car were in a bad way. Decals are not that good and printed on white backing but dont look too bad, still not sure what to do with the front spoiler, I am sure I will cut it out more like the real thing. I have a cockpit for it thinking of adding a thin alloy strip along the bottom of the shell to pull the sides in, only downside is that small cracks have started to appear in the shell on most of the corners and tight bends, you cant feel them on the outside so guess they must be in the plastic some how, but they are getting worse every day, may get in touch with ControlFreax and see what they say.

Looks awesome. The cracking sounds like the plastic reacting to the paint, or it could be the paint reacting to the plastic an the paint not the plastic cracking. Hard to say not know what paint or solvents you used. I am sure ControlFreax can let you know what is what when you tell him what paint you are using. On a body this good I hope it is not terminal.

I use Tamiya paints never anything else, it just looks like its kind of stressed in the corners of the mould, trying to get in touch with ControlFreax now but their site seems to be down cant send them anything.

This looks really nice I hope you resolve the cracking issues. It'd be a shame for that to ruin the great effort you've put into this!

Awsome! This is by far the best 6R4 I have seen, wheels and stance are spot on, excellent work. I was lucky enough to see these as a spectator at a couple of RAC rallies in the 80s, the noise was awsome!

I do find Custom Colour paints a lot better and dryer. They also cover very well.

Lovely shell, great job.
As far as I can remember the cracking was standard on the full size 6R4.
