Ayk 566B Super Trail
AYK 566B Super Trail, Baja Bison. GZ1200R and Acoms on board. Would have liked to cut the windows out, but the old lexan was super brittle, so went for the gansta look instead. Any former AYK Sidewinder drivers got a spare gearbox kickin around the parts box, please let me know and sleep better knowing your assistance has kept the windee in an old sidee. All comments welcome.

WHAT A BEAUTY!!! Must be one of the very few non-Tamiya cars that I'd love to have. I think these ones are from 1982. Again, what a sweet piece of RC history!!!

Wow! flash-back! I haven't seen one of these since Model Car magazine ran the Ad for them ... I agree it must have been around 1982 ... It's the black radio box I remember in particular ... very nice! ...

You could tried first rasping gently the paint from the windows with a knife and then paint with smoke color, another option could be cutting the windows and then make and paste some plastic reinforcement into the interior of the body like a cage and then maybe cover the windows with a mesh to make it looks cool
