Circumstances gave me the day of, today. Great day to work on the interior for my WildOne. In fact it got just about done. It went quite a way, but I just love my interiors and since the exterior is pretty clean, I thought I'd let the interior set it of, so no fantasy spared on this one ;) As I mentioned in an earlier entry I managed to score a FAV bonnet and interior for a nice price. Very happy with those because I like that interior way more then the WO int. After an extensive search I found out the FAV figure-arms are just about the most sought after items by Tamiya and prices for them are plain ridiculous. So I had to look for something else and ran into Willy. And a complete Willy, with all those neat little extra parts is ridiculously cheap. That and a Blitzer Beetle head I still had lying around and my driver was born. Of course it wouldn't be that easy, as one of Willy's hands is holding on to that shifter. So the bulge (where the humpback used to go) in the FAV interior had to go, so that my driver could shift aswell. Anyway to cut a long story short, here's a small buildthread of how I did it all. I have willfully not shown the interior in the car yet, I'll wait with that till the car is completely done (some decals, small details) and the sun is shining again so I can put her in some decent light. Enjoy and let me know what you think...

All done... Bodyparts galore... Here comes the pain... Lowered the bulge, left some gaps... Filled gaps with epoxy-putty, shaped and sanded... Tried to follow the seat contours... A whole lotta rocksongs later... I'm happy... And so is he. What should I call him?

If you liked those pictures, you should see these...
