i bought something off ebay a couple of month ago and they sent me a original hotshot instead of what i was meant to get, hornet....i think.

Well the hotshot was in a right state and to be honhest i dont like it so i just threw it in the back of a garage and even tried to sell it a couple of times.

Then out of no where my son gets it out of the garage and tries to tidy it up. The thing is i ended up helping him a little bit.

First everything was taken apart and stripped down then was thrown into industrial strength cleaner to get rid of the 20 year old grease and mud it was covered in.

Once everything was cleaned up my son set about putting it back together. Suprisingly he did a good job although am beting majority of the screws are in the wrong place.

When it came it did come with the original body but it was in such a bad state and painted terribly my son got some extra strong nail varnish and tried to take the paint off so ended up having to use another body that he bought a while agO which has just been lieing around.

So everthing was all finshed up basicly then what does he go and do moves the Mammoth Dump Truck off the display and replaces it with this....

Just bought a new body set so when it comes will get that all done and put on.

The nerve to move my Mammoth A few pics of it before

Your son knows what he's doing and I'm glad you guys ultimately decided to save it. Nice work.
