Acquired the bare chassis from Ebay, planning on building up as something else, but built this instead. Bought a new 3 speed box to go with it and fitted TLT1 axles on 4-links and 100mm shocks. Presently the bodyshell is quite beaten up, but I am liking the used look of it. Ground clearance is now much improved and steering is much better with an axle-mounted servo.

Thanks for the comments! The car is more well shiney dark grey than silver. pics taken near Blaenau Ffestiniog north Wales, it was a great place to run them but was very cold, water splashes from the stream froze - never had that happen before!
