Hi folks, This is my old baby my boomerang sorry for the photo quality but it is old! this is the car which i won most my trophies with but a few i won with my fox.The trophie with the blue in it at the back of the car i won with my fox and that was at the county championships so that is the one i was most proud of. The rest were at club level and with my boomerang as my fox went into retirement so i did some good racing in my day! my boomerang had a parma shell if i remember rightly and the twin shock set, ballraced , and a technigold motor and no bumper to keep the weight down and of course me mascot my little blue man(sitting on the car in the picture) a supersticious thing but this little blue fella was in the car at all my races but cant remember how it started! Well thats me gone down memory lane! Thought i would share this happy time with you all and tell you the Boomerang was really a very good buggy in its day!!!
Cheers MAD-BEE.

Looks very nice. Is that the legendary Parma's Coyote body from the mid 80's?

Nice picture with a whole heap of good memories for you thrown in - loving the trophies !!! thinking you may need another boomerang to relive some of the good old days ???? i currently have one new-build , one vintage and my old runner which has a 16 turn fitted on the bog-std tamiya ESC !!! mental i know but seems ok (no fires yet lol!!)

It sure is nice to hear that i am not alone in my addiction and others have the same obsession to this Tamiya !! hot rod just make sure you have 2 pairs of pants one shirt and one pair of trousers and a pair of shoes and flog the rest could get your self some more for the room of tamiya!! P.S the hoilday buggy is coming on nicely will need some new sticker i think though but car just about cleaned up. you got to love the suspension on this thing!!

Ya this an addictive hobby. I have like 3 projects going on and I want to buy more cars, trucks. But I need to finish what I got started. Plus not enough money as well. But I'm telling ya there's worst things to spend our money on. This gives me to much joy to stop and its great to everyones projects.

Ram318 you are bang on the money with that and it sure is one of the better addiction to have!! like you i just wish i had a bit more ££££ but the fun is in the time it takes to complete these cars! when they're done its very satisfying.Cheers buddy MAD-BEE.

The suspension on the holiday buggy is quite quirky... love it's simplicity . Looking forward to the pictures mad-bee . Ps another way to afford those cars is like i did with the re-re scorcher , that is by parts buying and just buying what you can afford each month - long winded i know but cant beat the buzz of getting down to the last few parts (took me around 7 months but actually with the right auctions and patience it worked out cheaper than buying the complete car)

This is a beautiful testimony of that golden era ! You 're a lucky guy to still have a picture of the past. Most of us didn't use a camera at the time (at leat none of my friends did take his dad's camera on the backyard compared to the modern era where everyone is trigger happy with the smartphones)... And all those trophies!!! Wonderful...
