Well what can be said about the egress that has not been said before and am lucky enough to have this nib beauty and two new built , the rest of the dampers and torque splitters are for future projects maybe more egress I'm still unsure . Must admit this is my favorite four wheel drive even over the avante . Took a good while to amass all these parts and at a time when they were a lot cheaper now high caps demand silly money nib so it makes me wonder weather or not to use them .thanks guys .

The most beautiful 4wd buggy ever! I have always wanted one of these awesome cars, nut sure it is ever going to happen Enjoy them! I can only afford a re-re avante, and yes even though the avante was first, the Egress is still number one in my oppinion!

That is very nice indeed. I can dream that one day I will be able to build one of these from kit form. I say if you are building a shelfer, the shocks need to be the HiCaps, if it is going to be run, I would buy some modern TRF style and keep it Tamiya. Nice collection there.

AWESOME!!! cars all of them! There's something about 'these cars that have an 'edgyness' over the Avante.. I see you have two built already..! Might make sense to save the third NIB as an investment. Originals always retain their value over a re-re, even if it's only by a small margin

That's one awesome collection of Egress's and associated parts. While the Avante has it's place in tamiya history, there's just nothing quite like a boxart Egress

Did You Know..??? ..the Egress has become faaar more Collectable after so many Avante's have been 'restored' and bastadized (spell ch. ) leaving the Egress in that dark little corner in the room, loft, or shed. Now what's your answer to that..? Makes you think.. Doesn't it?

I think the same can be said about the vanquish and avante 2001 too loads use the gearboxes for avantes and egresses but I don't think this will ever be re released so to speak.

@ Rosey - Now that to me sounds like you don't think that Tamiya want to make more/easy profit. Personally, I think these kits are good value and I also think there are going to be more re-re's! Why? Simple, because it's a proven formula and they only need to go dust off the tools! Go figure..!?
