This is my own design chassis that I built some time back. I wasn't happy with the setup at the time. Mainly the shocks and wheelbase. I was going to shorten wheelbase and put a Pajero shell on it but, been there done that ........ Then I deceided to go the other direction and planned on putting a Hilux shell on it. This was going to work out expensive. The shells tend to command a high price at the moment. So it was put on the back burner for a while. The main issue that was bugging me, was the shocks setup. Then a set of alloy Losi MiniT shocks were aquired from another TC member. Thanks Paul. This certainly made a big difference. I got the ride height I was aiming for. I ran the chassis naked for a while and thought about getting a lexan shell, to keep the CoG low. Not a fan of lexan shells though. A local TC member got in touch recently, he wants to build a crawler with a Land Rover shell. I was looking throught the trades for Landy for him when I came across this one. Hmm.. I thought, that may just suit my chassis. A couple of emails later and it was on it way here. Thanks Martin. I had one of these New Bright shells before, on a TA02 chassis. They are of a pretty flexible plastic and lighter than the likes of a Jeep/Pajero shell. It handles really well and the Hummer wheels/tyres have ample grip for most of my Trail Patch. It also makes for more of a challenge, not getting it stuck. Eventually I'm going to do the Camel Trophy livery on it. All projects are on hold for the next few weeks. We will be relocating from here, in the NW of Ireland to the SE. So, time to pack up the workshop and shed. I also need to finish the resto of My Honda motorbike to a stage where it's in one piece for the move. Comments always welcome.

Looks great, couldn't you do it as a G4 Disco? The colour is almost right so you shouldn't need to paint it.
I'm aftr one of these shells for my Clodzilla if it will fit, if not then I'll build something similar to yours.

@mikeekim there is a link under the last picture to the chassis, before I added the Losi shocks. @tonysmini. The TA02 chassis was a G4. As they were only for carrying the support crews/journalists, not much in the line of scale details to add. It's in my showroom.

A pretty good looking Rover. We don't see many of these here, but I like the styling, and you've got the stance looking ace.
