I'm soooooooooo in love with this truck!! Been wanting a Midnight Pumpkin for ages and really wanted a nib original (still on the wish list!!) but they seem to be pretty rare although not too expensive the one or two I have seen while surfin the net. Unfortunately when an original comes up I never have the funds spare but never mind a re re will do for now and the chrome edition too. Got this for christmas last year and only just got round to posting it lazy bugger I am!! Love the chrome body on this and the simplicity of the build no waiting for the warmer weather to paint it either (the missus wont let me paint indoors other than decorating :( LOL!!! ) just assemble add decals and your done. One thing I wish I had done was buy some original decals so I could have the BF GOODRICH above the windscreen/shield and the ford logos for the rear side panels, the original decals look so much better in my opinion. Still I may get another body in the near future for the shelf, didn't like the TAMIYA decal for the rear tailgate so in honour of the original I stuck FORD on by using some vinyl lettering. Gonna run this one very lightly til I get another shell, in the meantime me basher Lunchbox will have to do. I know once you've seen one metallic pumkin you've seen them all but thanks for stopping by and taking a look at mine. Oh just to add I love the pumpkin S I G so many great originals on there and custom jobs too especially liking mr.retreader's, scalamon's, wrightpumpkin's and tuff bug's, great work there fellas!

I love this one! The midnight Pumpkin is sooo beautiful. Have you seen the original Monster truck of which the pumpkin was based back in the mid 80's? It was called Frankenstein, and it was yellow. By the way, first picture is awesome.

I had one of these, fit some LED Lights they really finish it off. But yeap not really for a runner, as soon as they get scratched....... Chrome for the shelf another for running. Have you thought about the Parma lexan version of the Pumpkin shell... would save you some money as roughly half price and a bit more forgiving for a basher shell. Nice touch with the Ford tailgate
