What a nice surprise, well almost...
I bought some newer RCs from a seller few years back, when the transaction was done, he said he had a surprise for me.. He handed me one box of 79 Sand Scorcher body set. I couldn't believe it, I thanked him quickly and left before he change his mind.. I opened it up, shoot no body but some parts were in it. I got the second one that was unexpectedly included in the original '79 sand scorcher box from an ebayer. I love those box arts, I wish Tamiya still make em just like this.

These are wonderful pieces of RC history, and they're also beautiful on its own. Who would have thought back in the late 80's, when kids were throwing these ''old, heavy and slow'' cars away, that these things would become so priceless for some people. Makes me feel sorry for the kids nowadays into RCing, because they'll never get to see quality things like this. And not even from the company that used to make these. You have a nice collection!
