New Built With a Twist

Well with the re release of the Avante I thought it was time to build my original.........

Time to take a CLOSER look? Yep its a 1/6th scale (of a 1/10th scale) model, still looks amazing and comes with Dynatech motor and 7.2volt battery! Decals were so hard to put on..

They were released in mid 2007 by a Japanese company called San-S. Box comes with 3 Avantes, 3 Hornets, 3 Grasshoppers, 3 Frogs and 3 Buggy Champs. You get 1 set of each with clear bodies which are so cool and 1 set in box art colours and 1 set in an alternitive paint livery. Makes you wonder if Tamiya knew then that they were going to re release the Avante?

Wonder how may members clicked on it thinking it was a real one?
