bought one, got one free!!!
hi everyone. it's been a while since i posted in my showroom due to work and training, so here's the new member to my tamiya family. i ran across an ad on rcuniverse where the person was selling a modded txt-1 with spare parts for $350. i always wanted a txt-1 and i couldn't get one for under that price with mods, so i contacted the person and a few days later, the deal was made and i bought it. it arrived today after i got home from work, and as soon as i saw the box i had to open and inspect the goods. i was expecting the truck that was in the description, but i wasn't expecting a whole complete unbuilt kit!!! this really made my day!!! instead of one, i have 2, how great is that!!! now to find time to build it. as for the one that's built, it has the tamiya blue chassis, full ball bearings, tamiya aluminum cantilever, tamiya low friction shocks and 2 23 turn motors. i have to say the person that sold it made an effort to keep it all tamiya. hope to get to run it soon. as always, comments are greatly appreciated.*****UPDATE***** BOX HAS A NEW HOME....NOW BELONGS TO CRASH CRAMER, TRUCKS STILL IN BUILD STAGE, WILL UPDATE WHEN FINISHED.

WOW, very cool packing job. I think I want the packing box.
Please?? I better go up to my attic and find out what box my racetrack is in before I say that as even flattened, this box will cost me a few dollars in shipping.
