Hi all, I had my first run down the beach with my Holiday buggy and i have some pictures to share!
How much fun did i have with this Baby! it was a bit on the slow side but i ran it with the 380 motor for some full on vintage fun and a long run! I was very surprised how well it did it was very successful on the sand i think that no Differential helps! I had a set of very worn HB tyres on it as i did not use my main wheels/tyres as they are for the shelf and thats where my Holiday Buggy is again now! so a bit more rear grip would have been good but i had to give it a run just so i could drive and feel the Tamiya historic Holiday Buggy Legend!! I will look for a 2nd HB to use as a full time runner as it was so much fun to drive and great to look at! I dont know why but you can not beat a vintage Tamiya to drive! the suspension is so much more fun with that bounce! and the handling is real big fun!
Well my Holiday Buggy is back on the shelf again but Wow! how it made me smile!!
Hope you all like the pics? I have not got a great camera but it works ok!
Cheers MAD-BEE.

1 Such a great look on the beach!! 1 Do i get her dirty? YES! The HB did well on the sand! The little 380 did well enough! Had just enough grip! Had some sunshine! The HB handled well! My Holiday Buggy got stuck in the end! Time for the clean up next! 1 Back to the shelf with new stickers & clean boots

That's the MAGIC you just can't get out of a new car. It's something you have to feel. It's not that these ones are better than the new buggies out there; it's something that can't be put into words. And you know that's priceless, MAD-BEE.

Hi the-way had a bit of sun in pic 2 that helps the finish .Cheers again buddy.
Thats it mongoose its a feeling! When driving my Mad bull down the beach last week its not the same I had real big fun with my Mad Bull but not the same exhilaration! performance dont come into it and the 2010 HB would leave this baby for dead but the 80s HB or vintage cars have this magic the new ones dont but they will have to earn over time maybe!! Lets call the word MAGIC! Cheers again Buddy.
Hi karooha yep i am slowly getting her in to this ace hobby but easy does it! thanks pal.

Now I want to run my old holiday buggy to
Very nice pictures and some old time fun
It sure isn't fast but the fun factor is very high.
How are the gears after some beach fun?
I hope there isn't to much sand in them
Cheers Alex

Hi Fernado Alonso the gears survived but there was about 1 cm of of sand in the bottom of the gear box! but its a tough little gear box! and if you do run your HB you will have a very big grin on your face thats for sure! Cheers mate.
