I thought I give you guys another overview of my static models. This time the conversions, because a real man creates his own luck!!
Some extra words on the Quattro Avant, the Quattro sedan, the 928 station, the 924 station and the Golf 928. These models did not from the factories of Audi or Porsche, but were invented by Guenter Artz. During the '80s he created some remarkable models that, for Joe Average, looked like a standard factory models.
If you liked those pictures, you should see these...

Very nice building skills Wouter
I like your static model collection, and they are tough to build .
I guess they are 1/24 scale so a lot smaller than we are used to build.
Cheers Alex

Hi Alex. You are right, they are 1/24. Tamiya models in this scale are my favourite. The way everything fits, the detailing and the quality of the materials is unmatched.

NIce collection there, but i thought the Auid RS2 engine was an Audi 2.5 lump (Like TTRS now) and porsche only added suspension and brakes?.
hopup
@Tamiyoman. The RS2 indeed had a 5 cilinder engine, a 2.2 20 valve. This model was based on de S2 Avant. Porsche added wheels, brakes and other bits, but they tuned the engine from +/- 220hp to 315hp. At the time of production Porsche also produced the Mercedes 500E...

Figured, I only know as my mechanic has an RS2 and he tuned it himself to over 410bhp, he also has an RS6 with over 600BHP

Now that's what I call serious power!
