Well I decided it was time give those of you who are interested a sneak peak at my colour scheme/ painted shell.

Only a sneak though... the front lights are coming together, I lined the inside of each pod with reflective tape, couldn't get it smooth though. By the time the lenses are on (next job ) you'll never know.

As many of you have been asking, I've eventually found a place to get all the parts needed for my 315 front tyres and wheels at a reasonable price. So if you'd like a pair for the front of your SRB let let me know

Next job after the lights, finish the cockpit (which means painting faces aaaaaahhhh!! (anyone really good at it and love doing them????).

Just so you know there is another colour on the body, quite a lot of it, but you'll have to wait to see it... its not ready to show off yet...

Any and all comments welcome.

Phew... That´s really coming together very nicely, Steve. You sure are a mean B...... I like painted faces, and I guess they're okay, but I'm not sure iff I could handle the pressure to even come close to you're level of perfection. Plus you know where I live, right?

11-Mar-2011

Wow, I've just got in from work to see all these comments.... Thank you, really really appreciate it... to answer some of the questions.. @pagedm f350- tyre paint is Tamiya polycarbonate paint, 3 layers.. @stevepi- lights are made from plumbing pipe, one slid inside the other to form the lip needed to sit the lenses on... And guys I'd love to have this finished ASAP but its difficult to find the spare time.. But keep your eyes peeled.

Inspiring! ... the headlight cluster intergrates beautifully ... 10/10 ... maybe use some coil overs to hike up the detail density?
