Holiday Buggy 2010
As for many others, it took some time before the looks of the re-re started to grew on me, but I knew from the first time I saw it that I would end up buying one. I love the looks of the original Holiday Buggy and it was my first Tamiya back in the eighties. It looks stupid with those yellow rims, but it still have a nice vintage look. And the rims can always be changed into others or painted.
I will maybe convert this one to a vintage lookalike with narrow wheelbase and vintage wheels. Time will show...

Thanks! I guess some serious driving will require at least some better dampers and a bigger motor. I remember that the original was cheap (the Grasshopper was cheaper) with crappy supspension and 380 motor. This re-re also have crappy suspension and 380 motor, so the re-re has more similarites with the original than just the body Ballbearings, a sports tuned and a new pinion is ready, just need to buy some alu dampers.

Nice to have the old and the new one, you lucky guy. Please go for another paintsheme, looks great in another paintsheme too. I always see this buggy in the same bleu color! Enjoy the build.

great buy! as many others agree those yellow wheels look bad.but as you say still looks close to the original which i think is a cracking looking buggy. with the new chassis they will drive great!! very nice to have the new and the old.

Enjoy this great little buggy. I am looking at fitting the horrible yellow wheels to my Astute so please PM me if you feel like donating them to a good cause. JT

I think the look of the wheels will grow on you too! They really suit this buggy. JT

@Thommo: I plan to use these rims on a Madcap project since they are 2.2 and modern tires will fit.

I'm cosidering these wheels for the same reason. They will work great on Madcap, specially with a dark body colour and maybe yellow CVA dampers. I hope to see it on here one day. Good Luck.

The HB2010 is a fantastic template! Have a look at mine. I customised a bit but, lets face it, the wide front wheels don't get noticed when you're running it. It's a great rere.
