Hi all. Finely i have finished my new Axial truck, some of you have seen it before at his first stage (see my showroom)

I made the cage from styrene and some metal, i gluid it all in with special gleu to give it this look. Woudt look good by the weatered look of the body.
The stuff in the bed is made of parts what i hat lying somewhere. I mounted a engine from Integy from 35 turn´s with the stock pinion with 14t.
Hey runs great but not as fast what i thought, i preferred a little faster! Not idea what kind of gear and pinion i needid, suggestions are welcome thanks.
I running it at my local favorit desert, and i crossed through the hole desert for some three our´s and all with one battery from 5100mhz. Hope you like my new truck as i do and thank´s for watching ;-)

I like it.... My favorit place. Articulation.... Only for me today...... this desert. Running fast.... Posing the stuff. Running hard up that hill. Cage shot. Last action, to be continued....

Great work my friend! The cage looks very nice and the details are great. Hot tip if you haven't done it already. Fill the 4 holes in the axles with set skrews or else the diffs will be filled with sand. I also added weight (lead) in the wheels to keep the weight as low as possible and it works great.

Wow Alfons it sure is looking old and rusty for a new car
Nicely done as always.
I think you will be adding some mods as these cars are asking for it
And that place is Tamiya paradise
Cheers Alex

Great looking truck Lovely action shots too I have the same issue with the moteor in my scx10 I'm running a 55t which is great for an out and out crawler but I to want something not lightening fast but a bit faster without losing all off road ability. If I come up with something I'll let you know and vice versa

These are great trucks, i use a 15t motor and 14t pinion, for fast running and then 27t motor with the 14t pinion when using off-road.

nice looking Junker truck Alfons, looks like fun. I use the axial 20t pinion with a Novak 18.5 goat brushless in my scx10

Very unique rig and outstanding work with the camera. Running in the sand is the best - great fun. I use 35T motors in both of my SCX10 chassis with the stock gearing setup. I find the speed and torque is just right. Just enough wheel spin to keep it interesting

Thanks guys, i really appriciate your comments and suggestion about the engine pinion setup! @ Scottoman i really like that drippy tar cage too, woudt do it again on another truck.
@ Seth i`ve never run one of my trucks with a brushless engine but i will give it a try, meby on this one.
@Dirbee love to see you here, i think you like that place also. You get never enouf playing in the sand at the end of the day. I´l here from you whyl you will coming!!

Very nice truck Alfons, love last pic . I used the same body on my TXT-1 although initially I tought to fit it on my High Lift, I am impressed again about your great paint job on the lexan body. Are those paints for lexan?

def4x4

21-Mar-2011

Thanks BeetleOne for your great comment. Yes all those paints what i used are for lexaan and i paint them all on the inside of the body, 7 color`s in total. To finish the paint i spray a flat clear coat on the outside of the body to make it look more weatered.

I really like what you've done with this truck perfect as the rest of your builds. The location suits it really well a great place for scale running. I'm only fav builds from this year or i'll have hundreds so in this goes.
