This is my re-released Hornet. The blue body is my basher / runner, and is actually from my original Hornet which I had in the 80s.
The Grasshopper bodies are better looking in my opinion, and just need a little work to make them fit.
A complete riot to drive!

The General Lee style body is also a runner, but hopefully won't get too bashed!

My old basher body Grasshopper, Alitalia style Little and large! General Lee - my new runner

A great car the Hornet and with the Grasshopper dominated the R/C market in the 1980s so both have the Legend badge! and the 1st pic shows the hornet in its true form and i must say i like it a lot!You have done a nice job! I am restoring a original hornet at the moment and its a car that i did not get my hands on as a kid but i always wanted one! I did have one some years ago but i was not into the hobby big time like i am now or the 1st time as a kid!! I went down the brat/frog road instad of the Hopper/hornet road in the 1980s! I will enjoy my hornet when its done and i agree with you these cars are full on fun to drive!! Cheers MAD-BEE.

Like your basher body without the wing! And you are definitely right about the Hopper bodies! I fitted a Hopper II body to my Hornet... have to post some pics! cheers

Thanks - the basher body is more glue and Shoe Goo than body!

It's my most used car, by far!
