Hi Guys,
I picked this up from ebay a couple of weeks back, listed as Vintage RC Baja Bug.

The pics were grainy and pretty poor overall, with not much detail visible. I could see the car was a mess but it had a rear cage that I have been after , and also nylon arms but I was unsure of their condition. I also fancied the CRP butterfly chassis.

I decided to take a risk and try to win the auction which I did for more than I wanted to pay at the time.

When I got the car home last night I was very happy to find out that the nylon arms are in excellent condition, the chassis is almost unmarked and the rear cage will come up a treat when I re-finish it!.

Also to my surprise the axles were heavy duty hardened ones with gold hubs. Other than the gold hubs they look the same as some CRP ones that I already have on a runner that I paid a fair bit for, so was happy about this find! Wonder who makes them ???
I also found SC UJ's and very happy to find some heavy duty front axles tubes and heavy duty steering kit.

The shell needs a slight fix up ( add it to the pile!).
The shocks are sitting in a bath of WD40 until I can take them apart and assess their usability.

All in all , a ton of very rare hop ups in excellent condition for a very good price!......

The pics are from the listing... I still haven't replaced my digital camera that was lost.

Seems to me you've got all the mods you were looking for in one purchase, good man... You do realise we are expecting a very special SRB runner when its finished.. You'll need to get a new camera before its finished...

Very cool find and cheap considering what the parts would set you back in separate listings. If you need an RX and servos to match up with that radio, I might have some spares, but you might not want to run the car with them. Am I correct in the fact that the black arms were made by Parma and the white ones were made by RCH??? Just checking as I have forgotten some of my facts.

Thanks Chris, but I dont even know if the radio works, I need to take a look at it... I also don't know who makes the nylon arms.
