Here is a little update on my Jeep Wrangler Expedition project, kinda just building out of my head as I go but I have so many details lined up this will be one of my favorites...I really love going back to the CC01 as it saves so much money and I prefer the more stock looking narrow stance it offers, don't expect a fancy rich guys expedition rig with bling but more of a back woods hunter truck with body damage and bad paint or a truck After getting back from a long expedition lol!

Thanks guys, if you google 'Earth Roamer' you'll see where my inspiration came from. I also looked at a lot of old WWII Military Communications trucks and Ambulances Henk so the military look is no coincidence

The wrangler really suits the conversion well, almost looks factory designed, will be real good to see the progress on this one.

I love this project, unique and innovative. could be the camera angle, but the wheelbase looks a bit short from the side, but looks good from other angles.

Thanks guys, the tires are Hpi Yokohama Geolanders from that new Mini Trophy Desert racing truck they make and are super scale and fit 1.9 wheels. The Troll is about 9 months old now and still likes to be in middle of work area lol. As for the wheelbase C I haven't done anything with it its just the stock Tamiya but the body is just set there and tire could be turned slightly and the angle does make it look short lol!

Very nice and great project. Sometime`s i buy a 4WD magazine and in the last one was a big artikel about that earth roamer, a great expedition truck wheir you can sleep in! Love the build so far, courius about your tent idea, if you gonna make it! Very original and great build, keep going.

thanks guys, I don't plan to actually put a tent on it but I will likely detail the roof so it looks like a pop up could be there
