Well as I said in my last showroom entry 'Lil' king cab monsta'. ''I now want to do a 1/10th King Cab Monsta'' I crumbled under the lack of willpower I have & the pressure I placed apon myself to get one done.
Robbed the body off my King Cab, but have ordered another repo shell, and will be getting some more of Myles' repo decals. Just a couple of things I did during the 'makeover' Removed and painted stock shocks to look like King Cab ones. Swapped all the wheels around, so now the battery compartment is at the rear. Just think it looks better there. For some reason, the Clod always ran faster in reverse and I could never figure out why. Now it runs faster going forwards. Cut the chassis in order for the body to sit right on broken mounts, and slotted chassis for 'nudgebar to mount 'up & under'. With all that I created a Monsta. Lightbar & 'nudgebar' are just loosely mounted. 'Nudgebar' if I decide to fit is an easy mount. Lightbar on the other hand could prove my skills somewhat, as it sits on the outer lip of the deck. Doesn't quite look right. Let me know what you all think.
Without any futher adieu, here it is......................

A 'little' inspiration without 'nudgebar' & lightbar Looks okay I guess not the shocks you think they are Mini me, or Mighty me piggybacking 'wee man' should have really painted those red bits kitchen bench shot watchout 'wee man'

If you liked those pictures, you should see these...

That is a very cool reproduction. Why didn't Tamiya think of this what with the monster trucks still being popular today?? I think the rollbar/lightbar was a mistake of Tamiya to put on the monster as the King Cab didn't have that big of one, but it is cool looking anyway, I would focus on getting that to stay and leave the nudge bar off as it just messes up the front end and it isn't on the jnr anyway. I also would somehow painstakingly remove the white from the decal on the little monsta, but I am being picky now aren't I. LOL
