TRF Scorcher...?
Hy folks!
Here in Switzerland I'm a teacher at the elementary scool. I'm teaching and two days of the week I'm still a student to get my degree in handcrafts :-)
This semester we had to present our own project. What else to build then a new chassis for a Sand Scorcher? Fortunately my tutor accepted my plans, so now I'm on the way to build my very own SS-chassis!
I drew lots of plans, redrew it and corrected them. The wheelbase and the gauge are similar to the standard SS. I decided to take a 3mm and a 2mm carbon plate for the sandwich construction. The suspension parts are made of alu (with a file and a saw), further I orcanised a Super Astute TTC drivetran, TRF 501 shocks, screws, ball adjusters etc.
I'll keep you up to date with my project, every saturday (8am to 5pm) I have time to work on it :-)

I always hated the handcraft time when I was at school (too many proyects with toothpicks and cardboard...) and I spend days designing and filing carbon and aluminium on many proyects now... If I´ve ever had a teacher that showed me the RC way, that could be awesome. Good luck and keep us informed.
