This is my MGB. I got the bodyshell from our local auction site, along with a Corvette and a box of sundry parts. The body and driver had already been painted, and quite nicely too, so all I needed to do was tidy it up a bit, make a few new chrome bits and modify an old TA01 chassis to sit it on. And yes, those front body posts are actually fittings from a garden watering system!

A year or so before I got this, I had a set of the old Kyosho wire wheels that I thought I would never use - so I sold them! How bummed-out was I when I realised that they were exactly what this car needed?! Fortunately I managed to score this set off another TC member (sorry but I can't remember who).

I think these Kyosho 'Nostalgic series' bodies equal any of the Tamiya lexan. This is a great looking car.

Wow, that's something different! Is the body and interior one piece? Looks quite smart!

Thanks guys. Yes, the body/interior is all one piece. There is also a tonneau cover that attaches with the little velcro squares you can see. If I had painted it myself I would have done the black on the outside to give the interior a matt finish, like I did on my Cobra.

That looks amazing Don and great pics too. Don't you just hate it when you sell something only to find that you need it at a later date. Done it many times myself.

Very nice! I have one of these NIB and now I want to built it! Maybe mask the body and give the interiour/driver a dust of PS-55 flat clear on the outside?
