now in the new built catagory - almost
Decided i would list this as a new built rather than restored or project as apart from the wheels and msc all this fox is brand new . Have listed this fox on t-c for a while but this will be the last time as technically it's finished (sad times) . Was looking for new wheels but this project has cost me alot already so decent used front (only slight flaking) and rears (more obvious flaking) are fitted.... for now a compromise . Really love this car and with brand new tyres all round she's a pearl . Hope you like it guys and give me your thoughts . Regards hot rod

Thanks alot guys , think when i had this fox way back as a project i never anticipated replacing everything lol . Well as i grew to admire its looks it became apparant i could never settle on a runner . Now i have the best of both worlds with a perfect runner and a supply of used spares from my original buy could not be happier

Always brings a smile to see a Fox posted. My favourite RC.

Nice to see fellow fox followers (now try saying that after a few pints lol) ... not to everyones likeing is the fox but am sure glad to have this one and dont see know reason why it can not be re-released ? the problems twenty plus years ago (changing crystals and sticking MSC's) are not applicable in modern RC (ESC units and the modern RC equipment).... and maybe that sealed chassis is a good idea after all

A very nice looking Fox hot rod its looking as you said brand new!
Here i go again!!! The Fox is a very good buggy indeed and with the right motor etc was a very compeitive car in its prime and held its own against the 4x4 brigade at my club in my racing days and it feels so smooth to drive!! I love the Fox so much that its flaws dont count to me. A class act!!
great work on this hot rod you must be well happy with this!
Cheers buddy.

Very happy indeed mr mad-bee ! still puzzled with the control arm on the MSC on this though ? had two now and both have shorter wires than the one the car came with ? effectively meaning the motor plugs not meeting the MSC ones ? did the fox have longer motor wires than std or have i been supplied a different controller arm.. say from the big wig ? puzzled puzzled puzzled ? ps great comments mad bee cheers buddy

Very beautiful

I remember that the motors had to have long wires but it was a pain of a MSC so i had a ESC in my Fox but i did have to cut a hole in the side of the chassis for it to fit and it was not the best ! A silver box thing with no reverse and not that light but it was reliable! not sure what make now but it made life a bit easier! but as i said this car had it flaws and it was a pain if you had to open it up but i think we all forgive it!!
Cheers again buddy.
