the stable has a new stallion
here it is, the one and only ' number 43 ' is now mine ( thanks tris ). it is the first of many scorchers to reside in my showroom hopefully. i won't be doing alot to it apart from sorting out the front end and fitting a skid plate. i will add a rear alloy engine cage and i have a very special steve ( srb bloke ) stinger all lined up to be fitted. then my friends it will take centre perch on the disply cabinet for the rest of it's days, well may-be!!!

Lovely collection of SRB's!
Does No. 43's body appear to be slightly ahead of its chassis? I do like the alloy roll cage setup

I was only talking about this Scorcher to Moosey today (I assume this used to be his?) If so you will have to get the DVD's and see this in action as it's very famous over on Tamiya101.. glad it's in safe hands.. oh and nice collection to have

Wow. I always loved Moosey's #43 livery on this car. The wheels really set it off. Beautiful bug.

It's here again! Well it didn't last long with Tris to say he wanted it so badly?!!! Still looks nice though and look after her after all the hard work I put into it! There's an article on T101 how I did the body ya know
hadtoownahilux
hi moosey. i have read the article , watched the clips on dune and shell island, looked at all the photo's and i want the dvd. number 43 will be the pride of my collection and if this is the same body you used in the dunes, it is still in very very good condition. nice one, and you wont see this in anybody elses showroom. it stays put, well until i go to the beech!!!
moosey
Good man! Yeah its the same body and the sand was very forgiving ENJOY!

Roll cage looks really nice.
Really adds to the realism.
Tamiya should have done it.

Awesome bug, would love to see some beach action shots, that cage is sweet, like the chassis set up, I'm doing the same sort of this with one of mine keeping it light and balanced, Great bug straight to favorites.
