Here is what was supposed to be my Runner...

But after all that work and the finish I got on it it's going to be a shelfer.

It has got a few tweaks like the front bumper and the great rear suspension kits from RC Channel. Have a look at those drive shafts with the protective rubber, just awesome Engineering from those Guys. It has also the Tamiya ball diff and a TC Aluminium chassis.

Also I decided to paint the wheels in white and it really makes a difference trust me. You might be able to spot the small 'Volks Racing' stickers on the rims.

Decided to paint the headlights in yellow I think it gives it more character.

There's a Porsche logo there as well as this car has to have a big engine ;)

Suspensions are from the Frog kit and the rear had a simple modification to attach them to the rollcage.

Picture 8 Shows the incredible finish that Automotive lacquer can give you on models like this. The decals are under the clear layer btw. Also with less light it shows the painted wheels better.

Comments welcome as usual !

Cheers

Jerome.

ha ha I wonder how many times that's happened Jerome? a runner that's too good to run I've lost count of the restored or modified project that financially goes past the breakable runner point

@gr2fltp => Spot on Mate ! it's a vicious circle: you want a runner - you make it look good because you want to enjoy looking at it going round - you spend far too much time and money on it, so that it looks good - comes the conclusion that you can't take the risk to break such investment - back to square one...

Thanks Karooha & mr alan!

Great Scorcher, paint scheme and finish...run it...just choose surface wisely. I take off anything I fear will break and be too costly to replace...original mirrors, apart from that localised use of brake fluid brushed on is about all I need!
Great RC Channel rear end, do they work as well as they look?
